Fungicide (Keeper Mushroom)
Overview
Fungicide is one of the Keeper-themed HCE maps. It takes place in a mushroom-infested forest where druids and corrupted beasts defend a spore-filled sanctum. The theme leans into area control: spores, enemy healing, and natural AoEs.
It's a popular farming map up to level 10–12 because mechanics are readable and fame/silver rewards are consistent. From level 14 onward difficulty ramps fast and punishes positioning mistakes.
Mechanics
The whole dungeon revolves around 3 priority targets: druid healers (heal other enemies — kill first), explosive shrooms (leave a lingering AoE on death — kill them away from the party), and root-traps (root the first player who touches them).
The final boss summons spores that cover parts of the floor. Each phase shrinks the safe zone. Controlling tempo and saving CC for when large spores are about to spawn is the core skill.
Boss abilities: Ancient Fungal Warden
Poison Spores
Releases a large poison circle dealing damage per second. Spawns every ~30s. Leave the circle or die.
Healing Fungi
Summons 2–3 minor fungi that heal the boss. Kill them instantly or the fight never ends.
Rooting Grip
4s root on a random target. Bring an escape boot (Cultist Sandals, Royal Sandals) or die in the next spore.
Enrage (Phase 3)
At 30% HP the boss doubles attack speed and reduces spore cooldown. Burst damage in this phase or die.
Level progression
Learning phase. T5 Good/Outstanding gear is plenty. Focus on killing healers first and not stepping into AoEs.
Food: T5 Omelette. Potion: T4 Healing. Mount: any T5 horse.
Recommended builds
Bump to T6 Excellent. Spores start hitting hard. Healer must prioritize AoE heals over single target.
Learn healer enemy spawn timing — they appear at 45s, 1:30min, and 2:30min into the pull.
Boss phases
- Phase 1 (100–70% HP): small spores, simple mechanics.
- Phase 2 (70–30% HP): healing fungi appear. Coordinate burst to kill them simultaneously.
Recommended builds
T7 Outstanding minimum. Weapon enchant .2 recommended. Healer may need Wildfire Staff as secondary DPS on some runs.
Tank must bring Camlann Hammer or Bedrock Mace for CC against healers.
From level 13+ the boss enrages at 35% HP instead of 30%. Adjust burst accordingly.
Boss phases
- Phase 1 (100–60% HP): same as lower levels.
- Phase 2 (60–35% HP): double healers — kill in under 3 seconds or HP resets.
- Phase 3 enrage (35–0% HP): tank taunts, healer panic heals, DPS bursts with E reset.
Recommended builds
Endgame. T8 Masterpiece. .3 or .4 weapon enchant. Avalonian food and potion.
Standard comp: Camlann Tank + Great Holy Healer + 3 DPS (Permafrost + Lifecurse + Weeping Repeater or 2x Permafrost).
At these levels any positioning or cooldown mistake wipes. Practice at level 15 before attempting 17–18.
Author's note: content up to level 14 is clearable with basic coordination; 15+ requires mandatory voice comms and optimized gear.
Boss phases
- Same 3 phases but ~20% faster.
- Spore cooldown drops to 22s. Tank must bring Helmet of Valor with cleanse.
- Enrage sub-phase lasts twice as long — plan a second wind with resistance potion.

Tips & tricks
- Mark the enemy healers before the pull — everyone focuses them instantly on spawn.
- If the root catches the healer inside a spore, the run is over. Healer always brings Cultist Sandals or Royal Sandals.
- Main DPS should save their E cooldown for phase 3 enrage — that's where the clear is decided.
- For fast XP, levels 8–10 are the sweet spot: clearable in ~6–8 min with basic comps.
- Fungicide has the fewest premium loot drops (rare artifacts). Good for silver, not ideal for drops — Morgana dungeons are better.
Rewards
Average silver per run (level 10): 80k–150k depending on loot.
Chance to drop mushrooms (fame shards, trophies), Keeper runes, soul shards, and occasionally Avalonian shards.
The most coveted boss drop is the Rampant Staff (Main Nature Staff Keeper) — very rare but very valuable.
