1. Who we are

Albion Price ("the Service", "we", "us") is an independent web tool that shows market prices for the game Albion Online, curated builds, content guides and comparison utilities. We operate from the domain https://albionprice.app.

We are not affiliated with Sandbox Interactive GmbH nor Albion Online. Game names, logos and data are property of their respective owners.

2. What data we collect

The Service works primarily client-side (in your browser). We do not require registration nor collect personally identifiable data such as name, email or address.

Local storage: we store in your browser: selected language, server preference (West/Europe/East), local cache of queried prices, and cookie consent choices. This data is never sent to our servers.

Automatic technical data: when visiting the site, the hosting provider (Vercel) may log standard data (IP address, user agent, date/time) for security and performance reasons. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.

3. Third-party services

Albion Online Data Project (https://www.albion-online-data.com): we query their public API to fetch market prices. Queries happen directly from your browser to their service. Their privacy policy applies to that interaction.

Vercel (https://vercel.com): application hosting. Vercel may collect technical data for content delivery and security.

Albion Online Render API (https://render.albiononline.com): we fetch item images directly from the official CDN. Requests are made from your browser.

Google AdSense (when active): we plan to display Google AdSense ads to sustain the project. Google and its partners may use cookies to personalize ads. You can opt out of personalized ads at https://www.google.com/settings/ads or read the policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

4. Cookies

We use local storage (localStorage) which is technically not "cookies" but serves a similar function. It stores only usage preferences (language, server, etc.) and never personal data.

When AdSense is active, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads. We will request your explicit consent before loading any third-party cookies.

You can clear localStorage at any time from your browser settings. This will reset your site preferences.

5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom or California, you have rights over your personal data under GDPR / CCPA: access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection.

Since we don't collect personally identifiable data, most of these rights are exercised automatically by clearing localStorage or requesting it from Vercel directly.

6. Children under 16

The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a minor under your care provided us data, contact us to remove it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be visibly announced on the site. The "last updated" date above is kept current.
